Alira Fine Jewelry LLC (“Alira,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) welcomes you to our website and retail experiences. By placing an order, booking an appointment, using our website, or interacting with us online or in person, you agree to the following Terms + Conditions.
These Terms apply to purchases made through our website, Shopify checkout, Shopify POS, private studio viewings, virtual appointments, pop-ups, events, and other in-person sales.
1. Purchases
All product descriptions, images, videos, pricing, and availability information are presented as accurately as possible. However, occasional typographical, pricing, inventory, or product information errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, modify availability, limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel orders at any time without prior notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order or transaction due to suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory inaccuracies, pricing errors, security concerns, legal compliance requirements, or other operational reasons. If an order is canceled after payment, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Purchases are intended for personal use only and not for commercial resale without prior written permission from Alira.
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and other charges, if any, will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Payment must be completed at the time of purchase through Shopify’s secure payment processing systems or other approved payment methods.
Product representations are subject to our Quality + Craftsmanship standards described on our website.
Title to products transfers upon full payment. Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery.
2. Shipping + Delivery
All orders are shipped within the United States using trusted carriers or hand-delivered.
Products may be designated as “Ready to Ship” or “Made to Order” — “Ready to Ship” pieces typically ship within 1 week of purchase, while “Made to Order” pieces are created after an order is placed and typically ship within 4–6 weeks, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Shipments are fully insured and require a signature upon delivery due to the high value of the items.
Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates and may be subject to delay. If we are unable to ship your order within the timeframe required by applicable law, we will provide any notices, options, or refunds required by law.
We are not responsible for delays, losses, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, weather events, labor disruptions, supply shortages, acts of government, natural disasters, internet or platform outages, or other force majeure events.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout.
Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier and delivery confirmation is available, Alira is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery.
3. Final Sale + Returns
Due to the handcrafted and high-value nature of our pieces, purchases are generally considered final sale except as expressly provided under our Quality + Craftsmanship policy or as otherwise required by applicable law.
A product may be eligible for a remedy if it materially deviates from its described specifications beyond acceptable tolerances, subject to review by Alira and applicable law.
Any approved return, exchange, or remedy request must be received in unworn, unused, unaltered condition, with all original packaging, certificates, reports, receipts, tags, and accompanying materials included where applicable.
Alira reserves the right to decline any return, exchange, or remedy request if a piece shows signs of wear, alteration, damage, misuse, or missing documentation.
4. Custom Jewelry + Special Orders
Custom, engraved, personalized, resized, or otherwise modified jewelry is final sale and non-returnable except in cases of verified material deviation beyond acceptable tolerances or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Special orders may require a deposit. Delivery timelines will be confirmed at the time of order and may vary.
5. Appointments + Private Viewings
Private studio viewings, virtual appointments, and event appointments are subject to availability.
We may request contact information to confirm, modify, reschedule, or cancel appointments. Product availability during appointments is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel appointments where reasonably necessary for safety, security, scheduling, operational, or business reasons.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and in our materials, including images, logos, designs, text, graphics, videos, product designs, and other materials, is owned by Alira Fine Jewelry LLC or used with permission.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, resale, commercial exploitation, or misuse of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
7. Product Variations + Tolerances
Each piece is handcrafted using natural materials. Minor variations in stone characteristics, finish, texture, weight, and measurements may occur and are inherent to fine jewelry.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, minor variations of approximately ±5% in stated weights and measurements may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our jewelry and are not, by themselves, considered defects.
Product images and videos are intended for illustrative purposes. Actual appearance, scale, proportions, color, and finish may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, craftsmanship, and the natural characteristics of the materials used.
8. Limited Remedy
If a product is determined by Alira, acting reasonably, to materially deviate from its described specifications beyond acceptable tolerances, Alira may, at its option:
-
repair the product,
-
replace it with a comparable product, or
-
refund the original purchase price.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, these remedies constitute the remedies available for product-related claims covered by our Quality + Craftsmanship policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
9. Exclusions
The remedies described above do not apply to:
-
normal wear and tear,
-
damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper care, or excessive force,
-
damage resulting from prolonged or harmful exposure to chlorine, saltwater, harsh chemicals, moisture, or other environmental factors,
-
loss or theft,
-
modifications, resizing, or repairs performed by third parties,
-
damage occurring after confirmed delivery.
10. Certification
Select products may include certification or reports issued by the International Gemological Institute (“IGI”). Such certification reflects an independent assessment at the time of issuance.
Alira is not responsible for lost certificates, reports, or documentation after delivery. Replacement documentation may not be available and may require additional time or fees.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alira’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to any product, purchase, service, appointment, event, or other interaction with Alira shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Alira in connection with the product, purchase, service, appointment, event, or interaction giving rise to the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alira shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of value, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, or reputational harm.
The stated purchase price may not reflect replacement or market value for insurance purposes.
12. Warranty + Product Support
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our pieces and encourage clients to contact us if any concerns arise regarding their jewelry.
Our obligations regarding product quality, defects, variations, repairs, replacements, and refunds are described in these Terms and our Quality + Craftsmanship policy. Except as expressly provided in those policies or required by applicable law, Alira does not offer any additional written warranty.
Any support, repair, accommodation, or resolution provided outside of our stated policies is offered at Alira’s discretion and does not create an ongoing warranty or obligation.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to you that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
